"Cryptomnesia - When a forgotten memory returns, presenting as new and original to the subject."

I have never participated in a past life regression before, and I was pretty nervous about undergoing my first. I didn't know what types of memories or lives I would I be able to access, which added to the fear of the Unknown.
The general rule of thumb is; you shouldn't undergo any type of astral travel if you are suffering from any form of distress, whether that be suffering with a mental health issue or just experience upset/anxiety due watching something scary, lets say.
I'm not certain on why that's the rule but, I feel that it is pretty self explanatory without having to look it up. I mean, I wouldn't be in the right mental state to accept what was happening if I was experiencing those things. I feel like, if you desperately want to experience astral projection and past life regression then the time will come around again when you're in a better mindset and a higher vibrational level.
Remember, being on a Spiritual Journey isn't a race, everyone experiences things at different times and that's perfectly fine. Just embrace where you're at, we are all works in progress.
I completed my past life regression in the same way I completed my sleep hypnosis, I laid in bed and listen to a guided video I found online. The only difference between the two, was that I completed my past life regression at around 11am, unlike my sleep hypnosis which was at midnight.
My main reason for doing this, was seeing if there were any variables between my two experiences. I had a very clear and vivid experience with my sleep hypnosis despite, having a little anxiety beforehand but it was very easy for me to let that go (I was surprised by the level of relaxation I was capable off thanks to the video).
I had more anxiety around the past life regression because I was overthinking it, especially as I had had such a vivid sleep hypnosis. Before I started my past life regression experience, I repeated a few mantra's and asked the Universe and my Spirit guides for protection and guidance on this journey, I also expressed my gratitude to them for putting me on this path to begin with and hoped I was doing them well with my journey so far.
It took me a couple of attempts at fully relaxing, and I had to go through the initial relaxation process a few times before I was truly able to move on. That means like, I dragged out the grounding and breathing exercises longer than they initially were, until I felt at peace.
From there the video went on and eventually, it guided me into a temple with a long corridor. I had to select the door I was most drawn too, knowing all of these doors would hold a past life that I could access and rediscover the lesson to be learned from that life.
As I was a little nervous, I believe I found the door which attracted me very quickly. It was only 2 doors in from the entrance and on the left.
I waited patiently outside my door whilst the guide continued for those who hadn't found there door yet. I got a little bit impatient and wanted to open my door. I didn't know if I was meant to wait for permission to enter of if I was just to enter when I found the door.
I waited initially, and then I went in.
I was guided to make a mental note, or speak aloud of what I saw in my surroundings.
Initially, in the darkness I saw either Sehkmat (the lion-headed warrior goddess), Ra (the sun god of Egypt and considered the creator of everything) or Hathor (goddess of the sky, women and fertility).
It was unclear which of these it was because the main focus was on the sun disc on the head of the god/goddess. I believe though, it was more likely Ra or Hathor due to the face not being that of a lion.
In the images below, we have Hathor first and Ra-horakty shown second. You can probably see why, without having the full body in view, it's hard to tell the difference.
There are some key differences between the two obviously, but I feel like these images are far more crystal clear than it was during my regression. It was my first, I was nervous and I probably overlooked things.

I felt like if I was to describe what was going on during this phase, I would say it was more like a loading screen. I saw Ra/Hathor. I was focused intensely on the centre of the red circle. From there I panned out.
Into shot, came a snake head (potentially a cobra), with piercing eyes that lured me in. As you can see, a Cobra protects both "Sun's" on the headwear although for me, the snake was a separate being.
I saw Horus (god of kingship, war, the sky, hunting as well as protector of the ruler of Egypt). I saw The Eye of Horus and Anubis, in full body (the god of embalming and lost souls and transporting souls to the afterlife), who was kind of standing guarding.
I also saw, the crook from hieroglyphics which from research means kingship and then I saw the royal wife and powerful woman Nefertiti.
I then called upon my Spirit guides to show me a past life and I was shown a snippet of a woman with a headdress reaching out for a cup of something being offered to her. She was stunningly beautiful and had kind of shoulder-length, black hair. She was sitting down, well more lounging, and was being offered the contents of the cup by an unknown standing person (I couldn't see their face and didn't pay attention to their body).
I watched this repeatedly over and over, but nothing more revealed itself. She was quite seductive -looking as her attire was a little revealing. She looked expensive, but I got the vibe that she was in casual dress. Not dressed for visitors but not un-expecting of company either. She was giving me Persian princess vibes but I didn't see anything, other than perhaps her attire, which looked or symbolized Persia. She dark eyes, wore some make up but nothing extreme (as in, mainly black around the eyes and no red lipstick) and had a golden skin tone.
You may think this sounds somewhat like Cleopatra however, after doing a quick google search I can strongly say that this wasn't the woman in my past life regression. The woman in my past life regression had more of a Audrey Hepburn Breakfast At Tiffany's meets Disney's Princess Jasmin. Yet, as I mentioned, the woman didn't have long hair, it was shoulder length and I couldn't pick up on a colour of her attire although, it was quite sheer in places and she was lounging on a type of one armed couch which was looking very regal. I did see a lot of gold, whether it be real, or just colour though, I'm unsure.
From there, I called on my Spirit guides to ask for a connection with them. Something to show me my Spirit guide if possible. Something about my roots. I was then revealed another image, it was hard once again to draw the exact location but it seemed like a Native American girl, or perhaps a Shaman.
The difficulty I had differentiating again between the two, came down to the headdress the girl wore.
The girl was sitting on a log, in front of an open fire I assume she had made. I asked, if this was a Native American then where was the rest of the tribe? there was nobody around, it was just some empty land beside a forrest. The girl was carving a piece of wood which was in a long circular shape. Easily could have been about two meters in length.
I don't know if this was a instrument or a weapon. She wore a brown type suede-looking shoe as well as, a dress frilled with some fur. The colour was a light brown, also looked suede and she had her dark hair in two plaits which came down either side of her face. The headdress she wore contained feathers and pointed down towards the ground behind her. The colours I think were blue's and red's; it was very large and had a lot of things in it more than just feathers.
The girl never made eye contact with me, she kept carving away at whatever she was doing.
I watched her for a little bit and tried to figure out why she was alone. I couldn't come to a conclusion. I then saw another image which showed the cutting down of the trees but the girl was gone. It looked quite modern and it made me think if the issues which lay with Native people around the world and protecting their land. I found that as soon as I started to question this image the blackness came back again.
This time I saw a Owl with two piercing yellow eyes staring directly at me. I couldn't see it's whole body but from the eyes, headship and beak I could tell it was an Owl. As a Spirit Animal, an Owl is the sign of knowledge, good judgement, insight and wisdom as well as suggesting a change and transition.
I then saw a Fox, meaning heightened senses and mental awareness. And finally the last animal I saw was a Snake again. A Snake represents healing opportunities and change and important transitions as well as increasing energy.
Now you could say, this could be all Cryptomnesia as I mentioned at the beginning. There are no studies to prove that past lives exists however, some trained psychologists have described treating patients with chronic pains, aches and repetitive coughs through past life regression and discovered the course (an injury/attack or a house fire for example) and once the person has revisited that place and that memory, their pain goes away and it's like they have "released the memory".
One example I heard of was, a psychologist who treated a patient with a chronic cough, upon revisiting his past life he discovered he'd been in a house fire. Upon returning from the regression, his cough had disappeared.
Another example, was a patient who had experienced extreme pain around her digestive region, side and lower stomach. Upon her regression, she recalled undergoing an operation in a Nazi Concerntration camp as a young girl near her ovaries. Upon reliving or "revisiting" that memory, the pain was able to pass.
For anyone who has experienced trauma or knows some basic mental health, they will know how repressed emotions still burn away under the surface despite being repressed. Or simply, sometimes it does more pain to not feel emotions than it does to feel them. Some believe this is the case with past lives, certain things need to be released for healing to happen.
Today I've heard issues around children being born recalling things they couldn't possibly know as well as, speaking languages which are totally unfamiliar to them and their families. I believe there is still research going on but it is all quite a bit of a mystery.
Maybe try a past life regression yourself and see if you get anything, don't be disheartened though if you don't get anything initially. It can take a few attempts to connect with the Spirits if you're not particularly open to it.
I have discovered that next time I do a past life regression, I will be more prepared and observational. I feel I was a little overwhelmed with this being my first experience that I got more from the "transition" process than the actual lives them selves. I may write questions beforehand, so I know I can call on my guides to take me to a certain experience I can get clarification on and then try to figure out the situation in a more structured way, Overall though, for my first experience I don't think it was too bad and I am looking forward to doing more.
You should always take a break though between past life regressions and not do them too frequently.
Once again, thanks for reading and until next time,
Peace and love x
