My First Glimpse

I am not looking for validation, I am only offering you another perspective. It's up to you, how you use it.

Let's get started

When I was younger and of primary school age, I had a pet (more like frequently visting) Magpie that would visit the same area of the garden. It would visit me everyday during, mornings before school when I was getting ready and in the evenings, after school as I ate my tea. I would watch it every morning, talk to it and leave food for it. I felt extremely connected to this Magpie, so much so, I didn’t want to leave to go to school.

When I was younger, I decided I would call her Sally. I'm not really sure why but, Sally the Magpie was the name I went for. I just assumed she was a female. Just random selection really. Since embarking on my Spiritual Journey; I've reflected on events from the past such as this one. A google search showed me the meaning of the name Sally is Princess in three different languages. Hebrew, English and American (it's more two really isn't it?).

So What? You might be asking.

Well the Magpie was a Spirit. It had its own consciousness and energy. When you look at the symbolic meaning of a Magpie it represents; risk taking, a balance between the darkness and light (indicated by the black/blue and white within its feathers) and strong associations with witchcraft, divination and Spirit.

Further justifying that perhaps Sally's visits weren't that random after all.

Now, remember how Sally meant Princess? Princess, being the daughter of a King or Queen. Perhaps a person, which we would attribute a lot of power too? Maybe someone of a higher realm lets say? Higher realm in the sense of royalty or Spiritually?

Begging me to ask the question, was this Magpie a Spirit of royalty or a Spirit from higher realms of consciousness?

For me, this animal was either a Spirit Guide or a reincarnation but I am yet to make sense of the reincarnation possibilities although there is possibility. I always thought that in order for Spirit guides or reincarnations to be relatives, you had to have a family member pass away. I have since come to discover, relatives may not be from this life time and reincarnations/Spirit guides can include any of our previous ancestors from this life time or beyond. This also gave suggestion to the Magpie potentially being a Spirit animal.

So lets explore Magpies in a Spiritual Sense

Magpies as a Spirit Animal when looking from a biblical sense; are animals of rebellion and misbehaviour. Myth has it, Magpies refused to mourn the death of Christ and would not willingly enter Noah's ark but rather, insisted on staying and watching from outside. Magpie's are not easy animals and can be aggressive or friendly depending on how we act. We also know, magpie's are very intelligent, attracted to shiny things of the highest quality as well as, having very long memories.

Perhaps, Sally required me to rebel from my current belief system or about the way things were in my life?

Perhaps Sally was airing on the edge of caution by exposing me to herself to me at such a young age as a sign of hope and better things to come from my childhood or even preparing me for my Spiritual journey?

Preparing me, to embark on this journey to be able to sit here now and connect the dots for these past memories.

Or perhaps, this was all a pure coincidence. But is anything every really a coincidence?

Was the Magpie testing the waters for whether I was ready to see the revelation that was yet to come? Was the Magpie keeping track of me? The idea that Magpie's are attracted to shiny things and my not-of-this-planet feelings make me wonder whether the Magpie saw the shine in my Spirit and the potential I could hold if my "Spirit" and "ability" was nurtured correctly?

I have had many experiences where things have been revealed to me in split seconds that I can't explain or even really understand. These experiences have happened throughout my life and it's only recently that I'm able to begin to make sense of things. You can find one of my posts about my Luck vs Guides & Guardians here.

There was once a time where I saw a white light in the middle of the road. It wasn't floating, it wasn't a ghost or apparition or anything like that; it looked like a strike of lightening which was about as tall as a lamp post, maybe a bit taller. I have no idea what the light was, where it came from or what was going on but it initially freaked me out. I was only a teenager at the time. Something had just revealed itself and then was gone. It was a bizarre experience.

Let's think about it....

I was watching a cool Youtube clip recently about different dimensions. At the end of this video, a man is shown commenting on the National Geographic:

"Alien beings are all around us, they're just on a different frequency level”

and people responded with, WTF?

Is it surprising to say, to me this is very interesting?

Let's not forget, the term Alien refers to anything foreign to the norm. This could be anything from a living being to a flower or fauna. Alien doesn't mean green-eyed, green horned, big circular black-eyed, flying, UFO being. So throw away all of those preconceptions.

What if when I saw that white light, for a moment, I had or was tuned into a different frequency besides the human one? What if, these Spirits, beings or creatures had exposed themselves into, the human frequency whether through mistake or by desire?

What if, it was all meant to happen at that exact moment, as a way of keeping my hope and faith in themselves, without me realising until now?

With children, their experiences are often dismissed by close-minded adults.

From an alternative perspective, there's no risk of exposure and children will be dismissed as having over-active imaginations. Children are often the ones who claim to see Spirit and that’s how many psychics grow up. Unfortunately, due to fear many psychic children are taught to ignore and dismiss their abilities and may not fully utilise them until adult life when they have a Spiritual Awakening. As mentioned in my other posts, if you resist your truth it will just cause suffering until you accept it. If you try to hide away a certain part of you, you won't feel happy or like yourself until you look at what you dislike and ask why you're trying to hide it. Upon acceptance, you will grow.

Furthermore, children are potentially more receptive to Spirit and Spiritual energy at a young age because they are still "fresh" and close to the origin (rebirth).

Now with that in mind; What if Spirit knows that? What if, what I saw was a glimpse to remind me of something? A glimpse to knock me back on track?

What if my parents, who may have had Spiritual encounters when they were children, were told to ignore and overlook them only to maybe rediscover them later on in life after their Spiritual Journey?

And through generation after generation we all forgot our original source, and our origin ability to connect with higher Spirit? Overall, we forgot our mission of why we were being placed on the planet and we only realise it after we re-awaken our connection with Spirit.

What if children are constantly being dismissed due to older generations forgetting the reality of what is and their ability to channel from Spirit?

Our ancestors had a strong connection to the world around them and they did not fear the connection to Spirit. Some religions use fear to try to stop us from empowering ourselves and reconnecting to Spirit and to get us to live our lives according to another person's set of rules.

Our Spiritual Awakening helps us to go back to where we come from. The realisation of what is and can be. A memory of the original source. The understanding of the other realms and our higher self. The Spiritual Awakening reminds us that all the power is inside us. We hold all the answers and we don't need anything else.

What if, We (all Spirit's) are all just co-existing with other planes on different frequencies and we notice that through imaginary friends and visions?

But, We lose touch of that as we get older because we're told to ignore and dismiss it after a certain age? Or we forget how to flex our Spirituality and that muscle simply goes to sleep as we lose our connection to our true self and become burdened by problems in our life?

What If, I needed to know there was something much bigger than myself out there, from a young age? Something more than us, 'humans'? What if the experience alone of what I saw, was too complex for my brain to comprehend that my memory of what I saw was too powerful to be processed and hence, why I don’t recall exactly what I saw?

I am a Starseed after all (A spiritual being from another planet or realm, placed here with a mission. The mission maybe remembered during the Star-seed awakening, either by a trigger or through higher consciousness).

Whether you see this as a viable option for an explanation to some of the strange occurrences we have in life and as children whether that be imaginary friends or bizarre things we might have seen, is up to you.

Perhaps, you have experience's of your own come to mind which have been triggered or awoken by this post.

Maybe, you need to look at the bigger picture and increase your spiritual awareness so you can fully understanding what is required of you and how you can be successful during your time on Earth. Perhaps you're not ready for any of this to make sense yet either and that's still ok.

Ponder this but remember to stay alert for messages to yourself that may act as memories, guidance or triggers from your higher self.
